Whew! Seems like there've been quite a few crickets here recently. Sorry, for disappearing. Last night, Andrew and I finished mixing Songs of Ireland. Tonight, we'll start mastering it and hopefully have the album completed by the end of the week. Then we get to figure out when we release it. But so far it sounds fantastic. This album will feature 19 or 20 traditional Irish songs, including some new arrangements of some older songs that sound better than ever. It also features some of our most-popular songs that we perform live, including: Raitlin' Bog and The Unicorn Song.
Right now, we're planning the intial release to be exclusive to MP3.com, at least until we can raise the money to fund mass-production. You can help out by being an angel donating some money to the cause.
On another note, I was thrilled to learn that BMI songs are now available on MP3.com. This means you can now listen to one of our most-popular songs, Frog Kissin'. Frog Kissin' is a song by Buddy Kalb, but was first performed by the late, great, guitar virtuoso, Chet Atkins. Our arrangement is Completely different from Chet's, but it is wonderful addition to our popular filks. Right now, it's not downloadable, but it will be. You will have to wait until the next edition of the Bard Crier. Or you can order a copy of A Celtic Renaissance Wedding for just $7.98. It was also originally released on this month's CD of the Month, Gullible's Travels.
