A Break Through in New Tolkien Songs

What a weekend! I've been under the weather so I stayed home this weekend and worked on songs for our Tolkien CD due out at the end of August (we gotta get cracking!). Last night, I had a break through and came up with a great new song coming from same with a mild comparison between the rings of smoke coming from their pipes to The One Ring. It was supposed to be drinking song, but failed miserably, leaning more towards dark and romantic. But that's okay...

Because today, another song came to me. This one is a fun sing-a-long, tentatively called, "Now It's Time To Go". It's from the perspective of Bilbo as he's giving a speech at his birthday party on September 22nd. It's a happy little song, that might just make a pretty dang good closer. We won't be introducing either of these songs tomorrow night at Cafe Mundi. But you should hear at least one new song tomorrow. And we'd love the feedback. (Direct all bad comments to Andrew. hehe ;).

Oh! I also got an email from CafePress. They host some of our swag. Right now, we have a few products reading, "Size Does Matter." And the baseball caps are on sale.
