Return to the South Mall

Well, Andrew and I talked about it. We're gonna start heading out every Friday again. For a while at least, and as long as the weather is decent. Time? Starting a few minutes after 1pm. And ending a few before 2pm. Well that's the plan at least. Who knows if it'll change.

Texas Ren Fest and Clan Gunn Ceilidh

The weather at long last was wonderful at TRF. A wee bit warm, but at least it didn't rain. Beautiful weather, not too many broken strings and Saturday we had some great shows.

Sunday was a bit slow for us. But we had fun playing around. We played some upbeat versions of depressing songs. That was fun! Then we did some fun wandering. I had a nice time previewing some of our Tolkien music to the fairies. And even wrote a few new songs.

And the Clan Gunn Ceilidh was a blast despite the exhausting drive to and from faire. And according to Royce Perry of Clan Gunn, it was smashing success! Don't know if it'll happen or nay, but there's talk about having us back next year too!
