Tolkien Update

Well I'm hearing some great reviews of the new movie, and I can't wait to see it. Sadly, it looks like it won't be until next year. I'm hopping a flight to Italy tomorrow morning. Ah well.

Yesterday, I sent out a message regarding, Memories of Middle Earth, our Tolkien Lord of the Rings tribute CD. For those who are curious about the progress, it's been delayed a wee bit longer. We currently have five songs totally completed, and another 12 songs that are written, but just need recording. Andrew will be working on his parts over the holidays, and I'm gonna jump on it ASAP when I get back on the 2nd of next year. I'm seriously hoping we will be able to buckle down and finish the album by the third week of January. Then, it'll be about three weeks later when we should get the album from the CD pressers.

I also hope to write another song or two over the holidays. We're looking at having a minimum of sixteen songs on the album, but maybe even more. This will be our first and only album not to be released on MP3.com though we will release a short 6 or 7 song EP there once we have enough tracks done. So it's coming along. Look for a lot more music in the upcoming weeks!
