Texas Renaissance Festival ends with a bang!
Seven weeks of TRF is now at last complete, and what a great weekend it was! The whole weekend flew by way to fast, and it ended beautifully. There we were up on our stage at the Wharfside Gazebo as the 50% chance of rain finally hit for the first time that weekend. The crowd poured onto our stage and we sang our hearts and voices out coming to the grand finale singing, "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life".
It was just way to short a faire. I really wish we could continue it throughout the year, but now it's time to look ahead to what's next--Louisiana Renaissance Festival. The faire is currently in full-swing in Hammond, Louisiana, and despite what the program says, we're scheduled to perform there starting this coming weekend. Please tell your family and friends to come out. This will be an exciting event!
The calendar is not yet updated, but we are now confirmed for Cassidy's Irish Pub in Corpus Christi on Dec 12-13.
Andrew is the process of booking gigs for next year, and I'm brainstorming ways to make it possible to perform at a mix of venues throught the nation. I'm pretty confident that our strong, growing fan base will prove invaluable and allow us to tour more next year and turn our love of music into a full-time
career next year.
Course one of the biggest changes is the demise of MP3.com. I made a bunch of changes to our Celtic CD Store, and unfortunately, our very first two CDs are now no longer available for purchase outside a few special locations. (I think CDstreet has three some available in our Nagians Only CD Special sold through that site. Otherwise, check ebay. Ye never know...
That's all the news for now. We'll see ye in Louisiana. Slainte!
