Last public performance of the year comes to an end
Well, thus ends the last public Brobdingnagian Bards performance. And right now, I can't think of a more lovely way to spend it than as we did at the Irish Dragoon Pub in Killeen, Texas with many dear friends. The year has flown by. The past thirteen weeks have wow... fun, beautiful, but exhausting. When Clandestine broke up last year, I chatted with E.J. and Jen about reasonings. Obviously, ye never get the whole story, but they said that the constant touring just wore them out. They said if they'd do it over again, they'd take more breaks. Maybe one weekend a month. And I'm so into that idea. But then once I stop my day job, I suspect it'll be a lot easier since most of our gigs are on weekends.
Well tomorrow, Andrew and I have one private performance, and then we get some time to recoup for next year. I have a solo benefit concert in Kansas City on the 27th and then just a wonderful vacation away from all but my kitties. Oh, and I'll also get to debut my new solo CD, Soul of a Harper, in Missouri.
Well, Andrew and I both wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope you have as nice a vacation as I know we will have. Slainte!
