Valentine's Day Music Gift MP3

Happy Valentine's Day! Though I'm not currently involved in a relationship, I find Valentine's Day to be an extra special time of the year.

I remember my trip to Europe this Winter, standing in a train station in Germany. Snow was falling down, and there was a cool brisk Winter wind blowing. I watched the people waiting for the train and couldn't help but smile with delight at all the couples cuddling close together, sharing a moment of love.

Yeah, I'm a bit of a hopeful romantic. That's one of the reasons that many of our original songs are love songs.

One of the first I wrote was a song called "The Bridge." If you're in need of an apology to your loved one. This might be a great song for that.

A few years back, we wrote a lovely instrumental that we put on our wedding CD, A CELTIC RENAISSANCE WEDDING. The song is a favorite among Celtic music lovers getting married. It's called "My Irish Valentine."

The Brobdingnagian Bards invite you to download and share our Valentine's Day music with your loved ones. Whether you're single or in a beautiful relationship, we wish you a happy and loving Valentine's Day!

Ever hear the name Michael Robertson? Michael was the genius behind the former digital music giant before Vivendi took it over and killed it.

Now Michael is back in the digital arena working with our favorite independent music retailer He just launched a new store called, and we're on it.

This is sounding pretty exciting. Before the Major Labels attacked the site, there were over a million artists, and we were one of the Top 10 on that website.

This new websites offers much of what sites like iTunes and Napster don't offer. They sell you MP3s at 192kbps. That means you're getting higher fidelity recordings than you would on iTunes or Napster. Plus, the files aren't packed with anti-pirating features which means you can burn our music to multiple compilation CDs.

To be blunt, does what most sites don't do. It offers you a good, solid, reliable service that is about independent music and the independent music fan. It offers you a service.

I suspect this site is gonna do what did once upon a time. It's gonna shake up the digital music industry. Music fans no longer have to rely on big record companies to manipulate their music tastes. Music fans can think for themselves.

If you want to save money by downloading our music online, this is the way to go. Head over to the Brobdingnagian Bards site at

There's a Leprechaun in a Cartoon, I Think He's a Buffoon

Looks like I'm not the only person getting ready for St. Patrick's Day. I found out that Suburban Tribe read the lyrics to "The Leprechaun (You're No Irish Laddie" and decided to feature us in their comic strip.

It's a funny comic strip with a cat! Incidentally, "The Leprechaun" was rerecorded for Brobdingnagian Fairy Tales, our next CD.
