The Dog & Duck Pub is has been in Austin since 1990. Wow! That's the year I came to Austin for college. Yet, it wasn't until a few years later before I was old enough to actually spend time there. So I never really did.

But during the past couple years, I've made more trips to the Dog & Duck than I ever did in college. It's a nice little pub, close to campus, and has a great atmosphere. Plus, for the past few months, it's held the monthly Austin Ren Rat Gathering. This is a gathering of Renaissance festival fans in Austin.

We scheduled a last minute gig there.
