Brobdingnagian Bards, Interfilk Guests at GAFilk 2007

It was 2000 when I first heard the term "filk". We were playing music at a wedding at the Texas Renaissance Festival for a friend. The wedding came to an end, and we were leaving the festival. He joyously took us by the arms and said, "I love your music. And I love that you play filk." Andrew and I both stared at him. "We play what?" we asked in unison?

That was my introduction to filk music. Since then, we go to quite a few Science fiction conventions where filkers gather. And quite frequently, you will find us in the filk room, listening and singing with others. It's a great place to try out new songs. For this reason, we were invited to be guests at GAFilk in 2008. If you're big into filk music, then this is the place for you.
