CompuBARDS
"The CompuBards
believe that if your computer needs servicing, don't just call any nerd,
call the Bards. They freely admit that what you often pay for with a
technical visit is time waiting for downloads, etc. and seek to remedy
these moments with , what else? A little folk music. Yes, in between
the standard comp-speak and the endless waiting, the Bards perform Celtic
and medieval music just for you! A renaissance in computer repair indeed!"
Bards Sponsored by NMA Promoter:
Well, it is official. We already have a Booking Agent. Now we've started
to work with a Promoter. More specifically, an MP3.com promoter. The leader
in Celtic music promotion online, Celtic Ways, has decided to add us to
their growing list of Celtic artists that they are helping to become the
biggest Celtic artists on the net. Check out their site, and see what
they are doing to help the Celtic community. Then take a few moments to
tell John at Celtic Ways, "Thanks
for promoting The Bards!"

Andrew Hired by Austin Songwriter as Backup Musician: Andrew was
just recently hired to play his recorder, penny whistle, and flute on
an upcoming Folk CD by Austin songwriter Alton Rex. Andrew is on the
third song recorded so far. The song is a Vietnam War protest song that
has an Irish rhythm and sound. Said Andrew, "It was different doing an
Irish style song against war for a change." Around 10 songs should be
on the CD and it is expected to be released in about 6 months.
